Philip Gans

On April 2nd 2013 Philip wrote about his experience at a Holocaust presentation. It was a man that actually survived the Holocaust that talked to them and Philip said that it was a great lesson on not taking things for granted! I told him that I thought it would be really cool to actually talk to someone that survive the Holocaust, way better than reading about it in a book!

On March 25th Annie wrote about her homestate Nebraska! I learned some interesting facts about Nebraska such as; the state tree is the Cottonwood, the bird is the meadowlark  and the state dance is the square dance that I definitely did not know! She talked about the cold weather and snowstorms they had and even though Alabama does not really have either of those I could relate to her because I am originally from Kansas. She also said she is in tornado ally which yes I was apart of when I was in Kansas as well! She asked for us to share where we are and why we like it so I told her Alabama and the reason I love it is because we are so close to the gulf!

On April 17th Heather wrote about her holidays that she just recently had. She had gone tot he zoo on Easter and she says that the Zebras are her favorite, I must say I agree! She also went to her Granny's to have an Easter egg hunt. I had told her about hiding eggs for my friends two little boys and how much fun it was.
