Blog Post 12 due 4/4


1. Watch Technology in the future (6:01) and right a 1-2 paragraph reflecting on what you learned from this video and how it would change your life if you used this product.
2. Search Youtube for another interest story about technology in the future.
3. Write a 1-2 paragraph explaining the item and how it would help us in the future. Also say if it could be used in the classroom, what age and how would it help their learning.




Blog Post 12

After watching the video about the intel technology in the future I soon realize how lazy we are becoming! Everybody is so worried about making the next big thing but it is always to "make our lives easier." I think it is just making us lazy! I do think it is cool that he can talk to his TV to send an email so it is indeed easier to multitask. Like he is doing by sending an email while he is taking off his shoes and getting ready for his meeting. However I also believe that it is making "us" always in a rush and we  do not always see what is going on around us! People say that they are so connected through all these devices but how connected are you really if your always staring at a phone or computer?!

I watch a video by Aaron Sam's about when he "Flipped his Classroom." I think we need way more teachers out there like Mr. Sam's. He makes his students go home and learn the work and then when they are in class they apply what they learned and show him the product. (This is a chemistry class) However this type of teaching can be done in any and should be done in all classrooms I think. Mr. Sam's does not make the class room about him and him telling the students "what to learn, how to learn, it and how to learn it for a test" He lets them to the learning however they want and then the "homework" that they do is actually the activities they do in the classroom!
